| Yeesha is Atrus
and Catherine's daughter, she has her own study on Cascade. It resembles
her fathers in many ways as a way of demonstrating that she imitates his
concentrations, but also has some of her own. Here I did the glare on the light, the bubbles in the fish tank, the drips from the miniature bathysphere. This is where I first started using the shadow technique I developed to simulate real-time shadows. You can see this effect on the rocking horse. These examples are from early builds of the age, so the shadows on the floors hadn't been generated yet, but they matched perfectly with the ones I generated. All the shadows from the objects sitting on the main floor travel up the wall when the floor lifts. This is also where we pioneered the hologram technique.
